How to Use Digital Licenses and activate the Demo license

Description of the demo license

The demo license for TRASSIR software does not require a USB security key and is distributed free of charge. You can familiarize yourself with the interface and features of the free TRASSIR software modules or check out the work of TRASSIR with your existing camera models.

Limitations:

Activation requires an account in TRASSIR Cloud. If there is no account, the Activation Wizard will create it in the process.
TRASSIR with a demo license cannot be run on a virtual machine.
You can connect up to 8 IP cameras or video files.
The maximum archive depth is 1 day.
You cannot set a password for local users.

Activation of a demo license via the Internet

Download and install the latest version of TRASSIR-Server software from our website.
When installing, select the Server as a GUI application.
Run the TRASSIR software. In the Activation Wizard window that appears, click Activate without a key.
Click Restore License by email.
Enter the email address to which the account is registered in the TRASSIR cloud and click Next. If you don't have an account yet, the Activation Wizard will create one for the specified email in one of the following steps.
An email with a confirmation code will be sent to the specified email address. Enter the code in the Activation Wizard and click Next.
If there is no account in the TRASSIR cloud for the specified email, the Activation Wizard will ask you to specify the region in which you are located. Click Next to have the Activation Wizard create an account in the cloud.

A letter about the successful registration of a new account in the TRASSIR cloud will be sent to the specified email address. The email contains the generated password for the account. You can change your password in your personal account on the cloud website.
The activation wizard will contact the cloud and get a demo license. Click Next to upload the demo license to TRASSIR.
The Activation wizard uploads the selected license to TRASSIR and activates it. Press the button Ready to run on TRASSIR.

After activation, the TRASSIR Server will be automatically added to the TRASSIR cloud.
If this functionality is not required:

In the Trassir Cloud settings, uncheck Enable Trassir Cloud.
In the section Devices on the cloud site, click the button next to the name of the Server and select Delete from the drop-down list.

Activation of a demo license without direct Internet access

Download the latest version of TRASSIR-Server software from our website.
Also, download PostgeSQL server installer from our website and put it in the same folder with TRASSIR installer.
Start the TRASSIR installer.
When installing, select the Server as the GUI of the application.
Run the TRASSIR software. In the Activation Wizard window that appears, click Activate without a key.
The Activation wizard will inform you about the inability to contact the TRASSIR cloud. Click on the Download configuration file button... and save the configuration file. The activation wizard will complete its work. Transfer the configuration file to a computer with internet access.
Log in to the TRASSIR cloud website under your account. If you don't have an account yet, register.
Click on the Activate TRASSIR button at the top of the page.
In the dialog box that appears, click Select Configuration File and specify the path to the previously received configuration file.
The cloud will check the configuration file, then create a new demo license or download a previously created demo license. Click on the link to download the demo license file. Transfer the demonlycesia file to a computer with TRASSIR-Server software installed.
Run the TRASSIR software. In the Activation Wizard window, click Activate without a key.
Click Select License File... and in the dialog box that appears, specify the path to the demo license file.
The activation wizard uploads the demo license to TRASSIR and activates it. Press the button Ready to run on TRASSIR.
