Setup via the mobile app
Launch the TRASSIR Client mobile app.
Go to the "Settings" menu and click the "Add Camera" button.
Choose the brand of your camera - TRASSIR or ActiveCam.
For TRASSIR cameras, select a model from the suggested list or scan the QR code on the camera or box.
Next, select "Connect to WIFI" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Unfortunately, Android users, on TRASSIR mobile clients versions higher than 4.1.51, do not have the ability to configure WIFI for all ActiveCam models and four TRASSIR models (TR-D2111IR3W, TR-D7101IR1, TR-D7111IR1W, TR-D8111IR2W). The restriction is caused by external reasons, we are working on solving this issue. As an alternative method, you can manually install the mobile client version 4.1.51 and below (for more information, see the article TRASSIR client for Android) or set up WIFI on the web interface by connecting to the camera via a wired interface.
Alternative ways to configure Wi-Fi (without using a mobile app)
Connection for cameras with an RJ-45 connector
We recommend that you reset to factory settings before starting the setup:
- Power up the camera.
- Press and hold the RESET button for 10 seconds.
- Release the button, and the camera will reboot.
Connect the camera with an Ethernet RJ-45 cable to the router or directly to the computer's network connector.
In the first case, the router and the computer from which the configuration will be performed must have addresses from the subnet 192.168.1.X
(as a rule, the standard IP address of most routers is 192.168.1.1, and the computer receives the address automatically from the router)
When connecting the camera directly to the computer, you need to configure the network interface by specifying the following settings there:
- IP address: 192.168.1.10
- Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Type the address in the browser: 192.168.1.188
If everything is connected correctly, a login and password request window should appear.

password: admin
Go to Settings in the web interface of the camera.
Connecting WiFi cameras that do not have an RJ-45 connector
Connect the camera to the power supply and wait for it to turn on.
Hold down the RESET button on the camera for ~10 seconds.
A beep after ~20 seconds will inform you that the camera has been reset to factory settings
Starting from this moment, the camera has created its own WiFi access point, to which we can connect from any device with WiFi.
On your computer or mobile device, go to the WiFi settings and find the camera access point with the name <camera model><camera serial number>.
Connect to this access point with the password:12345678
After successfully connecting to the camera network, go to any web browser and type the address:
- 192.168.10.1 For models TR-W2C1 TR-W2B5 TR-W2D5 TR-W2S1
- 192.168.1.188 For other camera models
If everything is connected correctly, a login and password request window should appear.

Settings in the camera web interface
Here is the web interface of the camera, then step by step connect the camera to the main WiFi network, as shown in the screenshot:
After saving the settings, the camera will disconnect its access point and connect to the main WIFI network
In order to make sure that the camera is connected to the main WIFI network, you can use the TrassirIPCManager utility.
The program should find the camera and show its new IP address.
Next, you can add the camera to the cloud via the web interface of your personal account in the TRASSIR cloud.
For TR-W2C1 TR-W2B5 TR-W2D5 TR-W2S1 models, when adding to the cloud, you must enter the serial number in Step 2 Adding the device
