Before powering on the server for the first time, insert the BIOS CR2032 battery into the connector on the motherboard.

Make sure to use the CR2032 battery format (20mm, 3 V), and don't worry about the manufacturer, as it is not crucial.

To determine the battery's polarity, follow these guidelines:

  • If the battery lies horizontally on the motherboard (Neuro, UltraStation), the smooth side with the "+" symbol should face us.
  • If the battery lies vertically (MiniNVR, DuoStation), check the battery holder to see which pole it should be facing.

After successfully installing the battery, proceed to configure the motherboard BIOS.

The following sections will include photos depicting the location of the BIOS battery and instructions on customizing the BIOS based on the specific model and serial number of your device.

Serial number of the NVR

The serial number is indicated on the sticker, which is located on the back of the NVR, on the side of the connectors as well as in the device datasheet.

Monitor Setup

For NeuroStation, UltraStation, and MiniNeuro servers, connect the monitor to the server's video card after installing the BIOS battery.

Note that breaking the sticker on the video card will not void the warranty.

Once the BIOS settings are completed, connect the monitor to the video connector on the motherboard.

Remember to perform all monitor switching actions while the server is turned off. Otherwise, you won't be able to see the display.

BIOS settings

Important!

Set the correct time and date in the BIOS. If this is not done, the server license will not be able to be loaded.
