Main features

The script changes the directory of the screenshot folder on the TRASSIR OS servers.

If errors occur when installing a new folder, the script will make two more attempts to change the folder.
Most often, errors can occur when mounting a network folder (when entering incorrect connection data) or a folder on the HDD (if there is no disk in the system).

Installation

The script must be added in the section Automation → New script → Uncheck "Enable script" → Download an example → From a file…
After downloading the script, click on the "Save" button and configure it.
After configuring the script, you need to save and run the script.


Setup

Possible parameter values Screenshot folder:

Sets the standard path for saving screenshots - /home/trassir/shots

Sets a folder on the server's hard drive as a screenshot folder.

To select a folder, the built-in host.path_arbitrary_data() function is used, which avoids problems
if there are several HDDs in the system, since the /media/TrassirArchive* paths are mounted dynamically and change with each boot.
The approximate location of the screenshots when this option is selected is /media/TrassirArchive/TrassirArbitraryData/shots

If there are several disks in the system, the script must necessarily remain in working order.

If there is not a single HDD in the system, the script will give an error

ERROR: EnvironmentError: HDD Not Found!
Make sure at least 1 HDD is active.
Restart script. If you see this message again - contact with support@dssl.ru

We cannot guarantee stable operation of the server with a shared network folder, so use this option as a last resort!


Mounts the shared network folder to the local /mnt/localStorage/shared folder and then installs it as a screenshot folder.

Folder mounting is implemented using the CIFS protocol.
At the same time, in order to share a folder on Windows 10, you must first enable the Windows component: SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support (the name of the component may differ depending on the version of Windows). On earlier versions of Windows, this component may be missing, respectively, support for this protocol is enabled by default.

When sharing a folder, it is important to specify the username and password. Anonymous access may not be available, even if all users are allowed to read and edit the files in the shared folder.

If the connection to the folder is lost, all accesses to the screenshot folder can "hang" trassir for 120 seconds.

Sets the folder that is specified in the parameter Custom folder settings → Full path. 

When using this parameter, there is a risk of unstable operation of the Trassir server. Use it with caution!
