If the TRASSIR OS recorder fails to boot after an update, please refer to the article for possible solutions (Errors during booting of TRASSIR OS recorders (based on Linux OS))
File format unrecognized
The name of the update file is not compatible with the current version of TRASSIR software on the recorder. Possible reasons:
- File was renamed.
Do not rename the update files after downloading them from our website. If you download the same file more than once, browsers will add bracketed numbers to the file name - you should remove them before updating the Server with them.
- The update file is for another version of the software or recorder.

Possible causes:
- The update file was corrupted during download or copying:
- Try downloading the update file for the the NVR again. If you are updating from a flash drive, reformat the drive to NTFS and copy the file onto it again
- TRASSIR Client software version used for remote updating of another recorder is outdated. First, update the TRASSIR Client software to the latest version on the workstation from which you are performing the update. Then, try remote updating the NVR again.
- In some cases, third-party programs, including those built into the router, can cause file corruption, so we recommend disabling the firewall/antivirus/AdGuard before downloading.
